2026 Kona Sales Trends

Now with the 2nd quarter of 2026 ending today, I attached snapshot of 2026 sales trends in Kona for Homes and Condos. Sales of homes picked up in Q2 with 108 closed sales, compared to 74 sales during Q1. The residential median sales price was $1,094,500, this is the lowest median sales price for a quarter since 2023. We are in a solid downward trend for houses in Kona.

The median sales prices of condos also declined with the median sales price for condos now at $545,000. At the same quarter in 2025, the median sales price was $627,500. Sales volume was light in Q2 with only 58 closed sales, compared to Q1 when there were 65 closed sales.
